The Belgian Armed Forces in 1940.
Dear reader,
This is a Blog on the Belgian Armed Forces during the first part of the Second World War. WW2 is a popular subject. A lot has been written about it and much info can be found online. However the early part 1938-1940 is often a bit more neglected, and especially the role of smaller European countries. My goal is to write a Blog on the Belgian Armed Forces in 1940. How were they organised? What kind of weapons did they have? What happened during the German invasion from 10 May 1940 to 28 May 1940? I started writing this Blog on the 13 of July 2015. I will try to add new information on a regular basis.
